Kamera Lomo Indonesia

For those who are new to lomo.. it actually stands for Leningsradskoye Optiko Mechaninicheskoye Obyedinenie.

This camera is one of a kind, since you don’t really need a special or expert technique to produce good pictures.

Well, lomo is always full of surprises. You will never know the additional effect it does for your pictures. Some of the raw photos are just awesome, with some nice ‘accidental’ effects. They can be a bit saturated or having less color, or on the other hand, become extremely vibrant and highly contrasted.

Several kinds of lomo cameras even provide the ability to do multiple exposures, which will result in overlapping shots within one single photo.

Though everything seems to have fixed and "limited" rate of shutter speed, aperture, etc., it will eventually push you to give more effort in capturing the objects. Once I tried and get used to it, I don't find it as a limitation anymore. In fact, I'm more challenged to push myself more to get the right click at the right time.

Lomo is often described as “toy camera”, perhaps due to its fun and playful feature. Lomo itself has various family members. Unlike the SLR cameras which come with a wide range of additional lenses, the lomo family are unique on their own features.

Fisheye will give a nice, bulging effect on each pictures.
Holga appears in a square format, with wide-angled lens.
L-C-A is equipped with some zoom options.
Oktomat produces eight shots in a row.
Action sampler produces few shots in a row.
Pop 9 will give you nine shots at a time.
etc.

Feeling interested already? Go and collect some. Once you own one, you will be craving to have other types as well. But hey, these lomo are lovely collectibles and just fun to play with.

Be spontaneous, just click the second you see the objects. Don't even bother to think.
